Overview of the Role


Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely data collection across districts, supporting reporting on key performance indicators, and building the capacity of Community Coordinators in MIS systems. The role includes data analysis to generate insights, monitoring M&E activities, quality control checks, and supporting evaluations for continuous learning. Field travel (minimum 10 days/month) is required, and strong communication skills in the local language are essential.

Job Description


• Ensure the collection of data in the districts to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and ethical standards as per the project work plan and performance framework.
• Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators with the support of district leads and submit them to State Lead on a regular basis.
• Train and build the capacity of the Community Coordinators in the MIS system to ensure effective data collection and analysis.
• Conduct data analysis using statistical tools/MS Excel to generate actionable insights for the districts.
• Analyse state level data to identify significant trends requiring corrective action, assess possible causes, and identify solutions.
• Routinely perform quality control checks of monitoring and evaluation work in the state, ensuring that planned M&E activities are carried out and validating, on a random basis, the information provided PMU team.
• Track planned evaluations and ensure that evaluation reports are obtained and shared to facilitate learning.
• Two-wheeler with driving license is desirable for this position as the position demands minimum 10 days travel in the field, wherein public transport is nil/limited.
• Must be good in interpersonal communication and must be excellent in the local language.


Required & Preferred Qualifications


Skill

• Proficient in the use of MS Excel, with the ability to derive actionable insights from data through software applications.
• Ready and willing to travel across the implementation districts of the state to ensure effective M&E processes and outcomes.

Education

Minimum graduate degree in Statistics, Population Studies, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, or equivalent disciplines

Experience

possess a minimum of 1 year of experience OR graduate/diploma in any subject with 8 years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) within the context of public health or development interventions
