Overview of the Role


As a 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫, you will be pivotal in enhancing tuberculosis (TB) case detection through community health camps and facility-based screenings. You will work with an ultraportable handheld X-ray machine equipped with Computer Assisted Diagnostics (CAD) software to identify vulnerable populations. Your responsibilities will include mobilizing communities, coordinating with local leaders and frontline workers, and ensuring the smooth operation of health camps.

Job Description


- Lead outreach activities to maximize participation in health camps.
- Mobilise communities through door-to-door awareness campaigns and the distribution of IEC materials.
- Liaise with government officials and community stakeholders to ensure seamless camp operations.
- Collect and report data using project management tools and MIS.
- Provide field-level insights to improve camp effectiveness and patient communication.


Required & Preferred Qualifications


Skill

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and the regional language.
- Proven ability to build relationships with diverse community members.
- Willingness to travel extensively within and outside the district.
- Prior experience in health camp setups is a plus.

Education

A bachelor’s degree

Experience

2+ years of experience in the development sector (public health experience preferred).
