Overview of the Role
The Proposal Writer supports the development of high-quality proposals concept notes donor reports and case studies to secure funding. This includes synthesizing program ideas into compelling narratives aligned with donor expectations and organizational goals.
Job Description
• Write grant proposals EOIs and concept notes in collaboration with program/technical teams.
• Draft donor reports case studies and pitch decks.
• Research donor priorities and tailor content accordingly.
• Edit and proofread proposals for clarity logic and formatting.
• Maintain a proposal content library and donor templates.
• Coordinate with designers and MEL teams for integrated content.

Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Communications Development English or related field
Experience
• 7–8 years of experience in proposal writing or development communications. • Strong storytelling editing and documentation skills. • Knowledge of CSR and FCRA-compliant formats. • Familiarity with social themes (child rights WASH education etc.). • Prior experience leading the writing for large funding/grants is a must. • Excellent time management and a self-driven attitude.
