Abhinandan was conceived in the year 2011 by a group of like minded people from all walks of life. These individuals laid the foundation of Abhinandan as an education and welfare society.


Overview of the Role


The Chief of Staff will serve as the strategic right hand to the Founder supporting decision making aligning cross-departmental efforts and enhancing the overall functioning of the society. This is a key leadership role that blends vision execution operational management and people leadership.The candidate must have a deep understanding of the education and nonprofit sectors strong planning capabilities and the ability to develop and build institutional structures.

Job Description


• Support the Founder & CEO in driving strategic initiatives and organisational priorities
• Build and implement systems and processes for smoother internal operations
• Align departments roles and responsibilities across teams
• Drive performance management and accountability frameworks
• Act as a bridge between departments ensuring clear communication and timely coordination
• Assist in policy development HR structuring and program monitoring
• Represent the CEO in internal and external meetings where required
• Handle confidential and high-impact projects with discretion
• Ensure effective time management follow-through and goal tracking for leadership
• Monitor program execution milestones and organisational impact metric


Required & Preferred Qualifications


Skill

• Demonstrated ability to anticipate challenges think critically and offer practical
solutions.
• Skilled at stakeholder engagement including donors partners and government bodies.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced high-responsibility environment with shifting
priorities.
• Passionate about driving social change through education and empowerment initiatives.

Education

Bachelors degree required; Master’s degree in Education Social Work Public Policy or MBA preferred

Experience

• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in leadership operations or program management roles • Background in education development social impact or NGO sector preferred • Strong planning communication and analytical skills • Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams • Highly organised trustworthy and self-driven • Prior experience working with founders or senior leadership in a dynamic setup is a plus
