Overview of the Role
Caritas India is looking for a dynamic and seasoned Program Lead to spearhead its flagship child development initiative Khushaal Bachpan. This role calls for a committed professional with deep expertise in child rights program management and impact-driven development work. The Program Lead will be responsible for designing and executing multi-state programs ensuring strategic alignment with donor frameworks mentoring program teams and driving stakeholder engagement to scale the initiative sustainably.
Job Description
- Design and lead implementation of child development programs.
- Manage donor relations Theory of Change log frame and MEAL frameworks.
- Oversee multi-state operations and ensure program quality.
- Mentor program teams and support cross-departmental coordination.
- Engage stakeholders and mobilise resources for growth and sustainability.
Required & Preferred Qualifications
Skill
- Proven skills in program management team leadership and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong understanding of MEAL documentation and donor reporting.
- Knowledge of Child Protection frameworks and the Juvenile Justice (JJ) Act is an advantage.
- Fluent in English & Hindi; regional languages a plus.
Education
Master’s in Social Work/Child Development/related field.
Experience
10+ years of experience in the child development sector.
