Overview of the Role

Piramal Foundation is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Program Leader to drive its Social Emotional Learning (SEL) initiatives across schools in Jharkhand through the Piramal School of Leadership. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape student well-being and learning outcomes by embedding SEL deeply within government education systems.

Job Description

- Lead planning and on-ground execution of SEL initiatives in schools.
- Build capacity of teachers fellows and education stakeholders through training and ongoing support.
- Design and contextualize SEL content based on student needs and classroom realities.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders to integrate SEL and align with policies.
- Manage and strengthen partnerships with implementation partners to ensure aligned and effective program delivery.
- Monitor progress document key insights and prepare reports for internal and external use.
- Facilitate reflective spaces to nurture emotional well-being and continuous learning.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of education department structures.

Required & Preferred Qualifications

Skill

- Program Design & Implementation: Ability to conceptualize plan and execute large-scale education programs especially in SEL with a strong understanding of classroom and school realities.
- Government Engagement: Proven experience in working with government stakeholders and navigating education department structures to align initiatives with state priorities and policies.
- Training & Facilitation: Expertise in designing and delivering training sessions for teachers fellows and education officials with a focus on capacity-building in SEL.
- Partnership Management: Strong skills in managing relationships with implementation partners to ensure coordinated aligned and high-quality program delivery.
- Content Development: Ability to contextualize and develop SEL materials suited to the needs of students and educators in diverse school settings.

Education

Bachelors or Masters in a relevant field.
