Job Description
- Communication and Documentation:
Program Specialist will be responsible for providing complete on-line communication solutions including professional writing content writing social media management and website development. She/he will be responsible to manage the website blog write creative postings provide interesting content through social media channels and increase JBFs presence at various social media platforms.
Candidates should have Excellent command over written and spoken English with strong communication skills including the ability to write creatively and fluidly. She/he should be proficient in business communication and in social media tools and techniques with 12-15 years of work experience in these areas.
- Developing Project Proposals and Networking
The person should be able to develop and write concept notes and project proposals. He/ She should be able to work independently and network with likeminded NGOs government institutions policy makers local and national media and knowledge centres which will contribute to collective action. Networking will be undertaken through established networks as well as with systematic follow-up with contacts in the state and central government.
- Developing Communication Tools and IEC Materials:
Aiming to bring positive changes the person should be able will develop a robust communication strategy and effective communication tools for better outreach to the public elected representatives and government as well visibility at local and national levels including news and community media. He/ She should be able to facilitate regular updating of website tweets and blogs.
Required & Preferred Qualifications
Skill
- Candidates must have excellent writing and communication skills in English with strong documentation and report writing abilities. High level of general awareness and knowledge of current affairs will be preferred.
- Candidates should be keenly interested in developing domain expertise in exciting and new areas of theorisation with a strong passion for social action and related issues and an interest in grass root projects.
- The person should be an independent worker and have the ability to provide a focused output to innovate and conceptualise new ideas.
Education
The candidate should be a Graduate in either English Communication Economics or Social Sciences from a reputed university. JBF is open to consider women with a strong commitment to a career build through hard work and learning.
