Overview of the Role
As the community engagement lead you are responsible for engagement strategy and initiatives for Swiss Re Bangalore. You are also expected to support strategic priorities and industry & academia outreach programs and connect.
Job Description
- Ideate, drive and implement community programs in the location, leadership connect sessions and other engagement initiatives
- Manage internal recognition programs and develop relationships with various community stakeholders (local management team, function leads)
- Manage employee internal portals (SharePoint, Yammer)
- To work with task force on (post pandemic) re-onboarding plan and initiatives to implement ""new normal"" work model
- Driving Swiss Re Bangalore's thought leadership challenge ""Reimagine"" with academia
- Supporting Swiss Re's University engagements, engagement of Swiss Re Bangalore Graduates and planning and execution of Swiss Re's Industry network/connect events
- Engage and maintain strong relationship with internal communities of practice and employee resource groups (CSR, I&D, …)
- Support the Strategic initiatives team in projects across strategic priorities, innovation programs, leadership connect events etc.
Required & Preferred Qualifications
Skill
- Knowledge and understanding of community engagement practices, tools and techniques in social media. (e.g., Yammer, SharePoint)
- High energy with proven organization and project management skills and being able to work independently.
- Ability to collaborate across cultures, organizations & hierarchies
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic teammate with a strong can-do mentality
- Detail orientated with the ability to prioritize multiple requests and timelines.
Education
Total work experience of 10-12+ years, with at least 5-7+ years of relevant experience
Experience
PG degree in journalism, public relations, social work or similar field preferred
