Overview of the Role

Leads and manages CSR and education programmes aligned with BharatCares’ strategic priorities, ensuring effective planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation across the project lifecycle. Responsible for developing annual work plans, managing budgets, mitigating risks, and ensuring timely delivery of measurable outcomes. Oversees team performance, field operations, compliance, and stakeholder coordination while maintaining strong relationships with corporate CSR partners, NGOs, educational institutions, and government agencies. Drives high-quality reporting, proposal development, data-driven decision-making, and impact documentation to strengthen programme effectiveness and scalability. Requires extensive travel for field implementation and stakeholder engagement.

Job Description

Program Management
• Lead and manage CSR and education programs in alignment with BharatCares’ strategic objectives.
• Develop comprehensive program strategies, annual work plans, goals, and measurable outcomes.
• Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle including planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Ensure timely execution of deliverables within approved budgets and timelines.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies for smooth program delivery.

Communication & Reporting
• Prepare detailed program reports, impact assessments, and presentations for donors and stakeholders.
• Maintain regular communication with corporate partners, NGOs, government bodies, and beneficiaries.
• Draft high-quality proposals, grant applications, concept notes, and program documentation.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting aligned with CSR compliance requirements.

Team Management
• Supervise and mentor program coordinators, field teams, and volunteers.
• Set clear performance expectations and monitor team productivity.
• Foster a collaborative and performance-oriented work environment.
• Support professional development and capacity-building initiatives for team members.

Operations & Logistics
• Oversee operational aspects including budgeting, vendor coordination, procurement, and resource allocation.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, donor guidelines, and statutory compliance.
• Manage field implementation logistics and coordination across multiple locations.

Data Management & Monitoring
• Establish and maintain effective MIS systems for program tracking.
• Monitor KPIs and program indicators to measure impact.
• Analyze data insights to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement.
• Ensure documentation of best practices, case studies, and impact stories.

Stakeholder Engagement
• Build and nurture strong relationships with corporate CSR teams, NGOs, educational institutions, and government agencies.
• Represent BharatCares at conferences, meetings, and networking forums.
• Identify opportunities for partnerships, collaborations, and program expansion.

Travel Requirement
• Willingness to travel extensively for program implementation, monitoring visits, and stakeholder engagement.

Required & Preferred Qualifications

Skill

• Proven track record in team handling, operations, and data management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in data management and reporting tools.
• Experience working in the social sector or non-profit organizations.
• Knowledge of the local education landscape and CSR regulations.
• Advanced degree in Education, Social Work, Business Administration, or related fields.

Experience

Minimum of 6 years of experience in managing education programs through CSR or philanthropic funding.
