Overview of the Role
The Senior Director, Integrated Operations – East UP is a senior system leadership role accountable for the overall health, performance, and long-term sustainability of the SLMG Bottler operations across the East UP territory. This role provides end-to-end enterprise leadership across commercial, franchise, operational, financial, and people dimensions—serving as the single-point Coca-Cola system steward for the bottler ecosystem in East UP. The incumbent acts as a strategic thought partner to Bottler Owners, Board members, and Next Gen leadership, while ensuring strong system governance, institutional capability building, and disciplined execution. Operating in a complex, high-potential, and evolving market, the role requires balancing long-term enterprise value creation with near-term delivery of volume, value, share, and profitability. Success will be defined by the ability to influence without authority, shape outcomes at the Owner and Board level, and institutionalize sustainable commercial and operational capabilities within the bottler organization.
Job Description
Enterprise Business, Financial & Commercial Leadership
• Hold full enterprise P&L stewardship for the East UP bottler territory, driving sustainable growth across volume, value, share, revenue, and profitability.
• Lead and govern Annual Business Planning (BP) and Long-Range Planning (LRP) with the bottler, ensuring alignment with INSWA and BU strategic priorities.
• Provide strategic leadership on pricing, pack-price architecture (BPPC), channel strategy, and Revenue Growth Management (RGM) to deliver disciplined value growth.
• Govern bottler commercial investments (DME / DFR) with strong ROI discipline, governance rigor, and adherence to system controls.
• Act as the primary escalation and decision authority for complex trade-offs impacting growth, margins, capital deployment, or system reputation.
Franchise & Front-Line Marketing (F&FLM) Leadership
• Own and lead the Franchise & Front-Line Marketing (F&FLM) agenda in close partnership with Commercial and Marketing teams.
• Ensure seamless translation of brand, category, and portfolio strategy into market-level execution.
• Drive label coordination, innovation, and new launches with speed, quality, and scale across East UP.
• Partner with Commercial Strategy and Bottler Sales leadership to deliver share, volume, revenue, and profit targets.
• Govern DFR management, BPPC execution, and market-level investment choices, ensuring alignment between brand intent and commercial outcomes.
• Ensure execution excellence across channels and routes-to-market, with clear accountability, KPI tracking, and timely course correction.
Bottler Partnership, Governance & Stewardship
• Serve as the primary senior leadership interface between The Coca-Cola Company and SLMG Bottler for East UP.
• Influence Bottler Owners, Board members, and Next Gen leaders on strategic direction, capital allocation, capability priorities, and governance standards.
• Embed robust governance mechanisms, operating rhythms, and decision forums across the bottler organization.
• Build long-term trust while constructively challenging decisions that could compromise brand equity, system health, or long-term sustainability.
Strategic Market & System Leadership
• Shape and deploy long-term market strategies across brands, channels, and routes-to-market, grounded in local consumer, trade, and competitive insights.
• Drive system-wide alignment across Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Digital, and Commercial teams for integrated execution.
• Anticipate and plan for future capacity, infrastructure, and capability needs (manufacturing, distribution, CDE, talent) aligned to growth ambitions.
• Represent the East UP bottler territory in OU and BU forums, contributing insights that influence broader system strategy.
Bottler Capability Building & Transformation
• Lead the agenda to build institutional capability across Sales & Market Execution, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and People functions.
• Sponsor and govern capability scorecards (RED, Deep RED, etc.), ensuring sustained improvement rather than episodic fixes.
• Drive leadership maturity through performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.
• Champion transformation initiatives, particularly in under-developed, transition-heavy, or structurally complex markets.
Market Intelligence, Risk & Growth Management
• Maintain a deep, forward-looking understanding of market dynamics, competition, regulation, and consumer shifts in East UP.
• Identify growth white spaces and structural risks early and translate insights into decisive actions.
• Ensure disciplined performance tracking across KPIs, with clear accountability and timely course correction.
• Safeguard system reputation, brand standards, compliance, and external stakeholder relationships.

• Executive-level stakeholder management with Bottler Owners, Boards, and senior Coca-Cola leaders.
• Proven ability to influence outcomes in a non-hierarchical, partnership-based system.
• Strong judgment in navigating ambiguity, trade-offs, and competing priorities.
Commercial & Strategic Depth
• Strong command of bottler economics, value chain dynamics, and capital efficiency.
• Deep expertise in RGM, BPPC, channel economics, and portfolio optimization.
• Ability to translate enterprise strategy into market-specific, executable roadmaps.
