Overview of the Role


The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of the KR Market Waste Management Project. The role requires strong operational leadership to ensure correct and on-time execution of responsibilities by both Back-end team and On-field team. The Project Manager ensures that the G-Star Model, Market waste management is implemented effectively, donor commitments are met, financial tracking is accurate, and stakeholder engagement is sustained.

Job Description


1. Project Execution & Team Oversight
Ensure 100% on-time and correct execution of work by all team members.
Monitor adherence to defined Roles & Responsibilities of the entire KR market project team.
Develop weekly execution plans aligned with project deliverables.
Identify operational gaps and take corrective action immediately.
Plan and execute Volunteer Engagement Activities to expand awareness and adoption of the G-Star Model
2. Team Management & Review Meetings
Conduct daily review meetings with Project Coordinators.
Conduct weekly review meetings with Management.
Provide action points and timelines.
Escalate major operational issues to management.
Conduct surprise field audits as required.
3. Reporting & Documentation
Submit a detailed weekly report to management including details of Activities, Finance, Outcomes, Challenges
Prepare comprehensive Monthly CSR Reports
Ensure reports are submitted as per donor timelines.
Maintain donor-specific reporting formats where required.
4. Donor & CSR Engagement
Act as primary point of contact for donors.
Communicate progress updates as and when required.
Participate in donor review meetings and site visits.
Prepare CSR Proposals (new or renewal).
Align proposals with CSR compliance requirements under Companies Act.
5. Financial Oversight
Review accounts on a weekly basis.
Ensure budget adherence, proper documentation etc
Flag budget variances to management.
6. Stakeholder Management
Coordinate with various stakeholders including GBA, Market and Vendor associations
Resolve conflicts diplomatically.
Maintain strong working relationships.

Education
