Overview of the Role


WJCF is looking to hire a Block Coordinator to support the on-ground implementation of presbyopia program in one district of Madhya Pradesh. The role requires ability to drive project delivery at district level in close collaboration with government officials. The district coordinator will be responsible for effective implementation of all components of the program in the assigned territory. We are seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial individual with outstanding program implementation capabilities. Job Description


• Implement operational plans, guide Block Coordinators, and manage relationships with government and non-government stakeholders at the block level.
• Support the rollout of data reporting, monitoring, and evaluation tools to track program performance.
• Facilitate collection and analysis of facility- and community-level data to identify field-level gaps and improvement areas.
• Conduct training sessions for healthcare workers using standardized training materials and eye-screening protocols.
• Support implementation of forecasting and inventory management plans, including rollout of stock monitoring tools and dashboards to ensure uninterrupted commodity supply.
• Prepare documentation and communication materials such as reports, briefs, and updates for government, donor, and other stakeholders.
• Travel at short notice to pilot sites within the block or to the district/state office, as required.
• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the program leadership.


Required & Preferred Qualifications


Education

Bachelor’s degree in economics/public health/business or a related field and a minimum of five years of professional experience in program implementation.

Experience

• Proven ability to communicate effectively and engage with government officials and community stakeholders. • Experience in data collection, analysis, and utilization for program evaluation and decision-making. • Working knowledge in MS Office and familiarity with digital health systems. • Entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated ability to work independently on complex projects and solve challenging problems, in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment • Demonstrated ability to multi-task with a strong commitment to excellence. • Hindi language fluency, both written and verbal
