Overview of the Role


This role leads government affairs and regulatory engagement by developing structured liaison strategies with ministries and authorities at central and state levels. It provides strategic guidance on policy interpretation, dispute resolution, and compliance, while proactively monitoring the political and bureaucratic landscape. The position strengthens relationships with key government stakeholders, safeguards organizational interests, and supports businesses in minimizing regulatory risks and potential litigation.

Job Description


• Play a pivotal role in setting up structured liaising plan, develop, administer, and evaluate activities and operations related to the Governmental affairs and Ministries
• Represent an issue pertaining to policy interpretation & clarification to the respective Authorities (i.e. Central / State Govt. & Independent bodies) in conjunction with respective Business Team/ Consultant for resolving the disputes at Group level.
• Provide day-to-day advice/opinions and to formulate strategy to be adopted for a case/ matter at various forums.
• Maintaining & augmenting relationship with various government officials of various Departments / Ministries & Authorities.
• Keeping a foresight at the bureaucratic & political atmosphere and its impact on entire Group Companies.
• Creating and communicating a favorable image for entire Group Companies in front of the Government Departments / Ministries & Authorities.
• Help businesses on Procedural SOPs for compliance to cut down potential litigations.


Required & Preferred Qualifications


Experience

Should have minimum 14+ years of relevant experience in Corporate Affairs and Regulatory matters
