Overview of the Role
To provide support and assistance to the Chief Executive (CE) in order to ensure a seamless and effective discharge of the responsibilities of the Chief Executive.
Job Description
Programmatic support
• Prepare presentations and briefing notes to support the CEO
• To locate, collate and compile relevant information, policies ,guidelines and current practices with regard to water, sanitation and hygiene for internal use and dissemination.
Administrative and Logistics:
• Plan, schedule and organise meetings for the CEO and the SMT
• Track and monitor pending issues for follow up
• Prepare and respond to correspondence on behalf of the CEO
• Maintain and manage records of all relevant documentation
• Responsible for confidential and time sensitive materials
• Coordinate all travel related logistics & expense reports for the CEO and the SMT
• Responsible for providing support to the CEO and the SMT in organising events
Support to the Board
• Responsible for organising board meetings, and handling all logistical requirements of the Board of Directors of Jal Seva Charitable Foundation
• Attending board meetings with the CEO and the SMT and taking minutes of the meeting
• Documentation of board decisions and minutes in coordination with the relevant teams and individuals
• Facilitate engagement with external stakeholders
• Build and maintain a network with experts, institutions, corporates, professional associations and prominent think tanks for sensitisation on issues related to WASH.
Required & Preferred Qualifications
Skill
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products and specifically Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Excellent proficiency in English – written and verbal and basic proficiency in Hindi and/or any other Indian language
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• A self-starter, able to undertake routine tasks independently and with little supervision
• Ability to prioritise, set and meet deadlines with high skills on multitasking and attention to details
• Should be dependable, mature and unquestioned discretion.
Education
Graduation in any discipline
Experience
Between 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in similar organisational/functional context
