Overview of the Role


To lead the Fund Master function within Investment Data Services, ensuring high-quality, complete, and compliant fund data management using Fundipedia. This role is pivotal in driving data governance, reconciliation, and strategic data initiatives across investment operations.

Job Description


• Lead Fundipedia implementation and enhancement projects to optimize fund data management.
• Define and enforce fund data governance frameworks, including pricing governance and quality controls.
• Own the fund master data strategy, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness across internal and external platforms.
• Drive automation, standardization, and scalability of data operations using Fundipedia and other tools.
• Act as escalation point for fund data discrepancies, reconciliation exceptions, and complex data-related queries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including investments, compliance, distribution, client servicing, regulatory, vendor, and global teams.
• Represent Investment Operations in transformation programs and data governance forums.
• Monitor and report KPIs, delivering insights to improve fund data quality, operational efficiency, and service excellence.
• Mentor and guide team members on Fundipedia usage, data best practices, and continuous improvement.
• Implement assurance checks to ensure data meets investment, client reporting, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct data analysis to support business decisions and reporting needs.
• Oversee sustainability data integration and reporting across investment platforms.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Lead and manage the Data Services team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.


Required & Preferred Qualifications


Skill

• Deep expertise in fund structures, share classes, and investment products.
• Hands-on experience with Fundipedia or similar EDM platforms.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., UCITS, MiFID II, SFDR).
• Proficiency in data tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python, VBA).
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret complex fund data.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional initiatives.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Data Science, or related fields Certifications like CFA, FRM, or Data Management certifications preferred"
