Overview of the Role


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate – WICE with 7–8 years of professional experience, preferably in the gender equity, social impact, climate action, entrepreneurship, or development sectors. In this role, you will lead program implementation, strengthen partnerships, and support strategic growth for an initiative focused on empowering women-led climate startups and aspiring women entrepreneurs across South Asia.

Job Description


Programs & Project Leadership
• Lead end-to-end coordination and implementation of program activities, ensuring timely execution and high-quality delivery.
• Manage project timelines, milestones, budgets, and reporting requirements.
• Oversee data collection, program monitoring, and impact evaluation to track progress and derive insights.

Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with startups, investors, mentors, incubators, corporates, and ecosystem enablers.
• Represent the organization in external forums, networking events, and partnership meetings.
• Identify collaboration opportunities to strengthen visibility and program reach.

Gender & Climate-focused Engagement
• Integrate gender-focused strategies and best practices within program design and delivery.
• Support research, interviews, and landscape assessments related to women entrepreneurship and climate innovation.
• Engage deeply with women startup founders to understand needs and provide support pathways.

Communication & Community Engagement
• Support the creation and review of content for newsletters, reports, outreach material, and digital communication.
• Lead the planning and execution of events, webinars, workshops, and community meetups.
• Drive outreach campaigns to encourage participation and ecosystem engagement.

Stakeholder Relations & Support
• Maintain strong founder relations, collecting feedback and insights to enhance program experience.
• Facilitate mentorship matching, learning sessions, and peer networking opportunities.

Experience

• 7–8 years of relevant experience in program management, partnerships, gender equity initiatives, or entrepreneurship/climate sectors. • Experience working with startups, incubators/accelerators, development sector programs, or donor-funded initiatives. • Strong understanding or interest in climate innovation, sustainability, and women-led entrepreneurship. • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build strategic relationships. • Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical skills. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and impact-oriented environment.
