Overview of the Role
The Manager – CSR & Skilling Programs will lead end-to-end management of skill development and livelihood programs, especially with a focus on BFSI and related sectors. The role requires strong program leadership, stakeholder coordination, team management, and a deep understanding of community development and employability initiatives.
Job Description
1. Program Strategy & Planning
• Develop & refine strategies for CSR and skilling programs, especially for BFSI and service sectors.
• Identify target groups, finalize program design, and define KPIs & outcomes.
• Explore opportunities to expand programs across regions.
2. Program Implementation & Operations
• Lead the execution of multiple skilling programs across Pune/Ahmedabad.
• Ensure programs adhere to quality benchmarks, timelines, and financial guidelines.
• Oversee mobilization, training delivery, assessments, and placement support.
3. Proposal Writing & Budgeting
• Prepare high-quality proposals, concept notes, and implementation frameworks for corporate donors.
• Develop detailed budgets and ensure efficient fund utilization.
• Support in donor pitches, presentations, and documentation.
4. Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, BFSI partners, industry associations, NGOs, training institutions, and government bodies.
• Identify partnership opportunities and collaborate for program expansion, resource mobilization, and impact enhancement.
• Represent BharatCares in CSR and skilling forums, meetings, and events.
5. Team Leadership & Capacity Building
• Lead and mentor a team of program coordinators, trainers, and field staff.
• Facilitate training, performance monitoring, and professional development of team members.
• Build a positive, accountable, and growth-oriented team culture.
6. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
• Develop and oversee robust M&E systems to track progress, outcomes, and impact.
• Analyze data to improve program design and delivery.
• Prepare periodic reports, case studies, impact summaries, and donor update decks.
7. Compliance & Documentation
• Ensure adherence to donor requirements, audit norms, and organizational policies.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all program activities, budgets, and impact metrics.
8. Travel Requirement
• Frequent travel within the state and occasional travel to other BharatCares locations as needed.
Required & Preferred Qualifications
Skill
• Prior experience with BFSI skilling programs or employability initiatives is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in the local language (Marathi/Gujarati) is mandatory.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Passion for social impact and commitment to community development.
Education
Master’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Education, Business Management, or related fields.
Experience
5–8 years of relevant experience in CSR, skilling, livelihoods, or development sector program management. Strong experience in team handling, project management, proposal writing, and stakeholder engagement.
