Overview of the Role
The role supports end-to-end project management in the Natural Resource Management (NRM) domain—including forest fire mitigation, medicinal plant conservation, and climate change initiatives. It provides technical expertise to guide implementation teams, monitors progress against annual plans, and ensures high team productivity. The position also leads documentation, report writing, and stakeholder communication to effectively disseminate project insights and achievements.
Job Description
a. Project Management: Help in the implementation of projects in the NRM domain, including projects on forest fires, Medicinal Plants conservation and on Climate Change. Contribute on the overall annual plan and tracking achievements against the plan on fortnightly basis.
b. Thematic input: Provide technical input for the project and guide the implementing team.
c. Team Productivity: Manage and guide the team towards ensuring efficient project deliveries.
d. Documentation and interface: Be responsible for developing content for dissemination, and for all reports and communication with stakeholders.
Required & Preferred Qualifications
Education
Masters degree with experience in NRM sector.
Experience
Ten years in the development sector and substantial part of it in the specific domain.
