Overview of the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to expand our client base in the development sector and drive revenue growth. This role focuses on identifying opportunities, building relationships with NGOs, government bodies, and CSR teams, and bringing new projects to RISO Intelligence LLP. You will act as the bridge between our technical delivery team and clients, ensuring smooth project acquisition and oversight.
Job Description
1. Business Development (Primary Focus)
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with NGOs, government organizations, multilateral agencies, and CSR departments
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects in the development sector
• Create compelling proposals, presentations, and pitch decks for potential clients
• Represent RISO Intelligence at sector events, conferences, and networking forums
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing and potential clients
• Understand client needs and align RISO's service offerings accordingly
2. Project Oversight
• Coordinate with internal technical teams to ensure timely project delivery
• Monitor project progress and delivery timelines
• Ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
• Gather client feedback and facilitate smooth project closure
Required & Preferred Qualifications
Education
Master's degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Rural Management, Business Administration, or related field Bachelor's degree with exceptional relevant experience may be considered "
Experience
4-10 years of proven business development experience, preferably in: Business development Roles, NGOs, UN bodies, Government liaison or CSR management
