Overview of the Role

This role anchors all state-level government and CSR engagements, ensuring strong relationships, timely MoUs, and smooth implementation of climate-smart agriculture programs. You will function as the first point of contact for state departments, senior bureaucrats, district officials, and internal teams—driving impact for smallholder farmers.

Job Description

* Build, initiate, and manage partnerships with key state government departments
* Secure financial MoUs and ensure timely fund flow and documentation
* Represent the organization in state-level meetings, reviews, and forums
* Build trust across hierarchies—from field teams to senior bureaucrats
* Draft proposals, concept notes, and presentations for govt. & CSR stakeholders
* Lead internal and external coordination to meet implementation timelines
* Mobilize and align district and block-level partners with program plans
* Troubleshoot administrative and operational bottlenecks with creativity
* Provide regular progress reports and updates to leadership

Required & Preferred Qualifications

Skill

* Strong relationship management across administrative levels
* Experience in implementation, on-ground program delivery, and coordination
* Ability to navigate bureaucracy with resilience and integrity
* Local state language proficiency (mandatory for the state you’re applying for)

Experience

* 5–15 years of experience working with or within government systems * Proven experience independently leading government-facing projects * Experience securing and managing financial MoUs or government receivables
