Overview of the Role
"The position requires the candidate to engage in end-to-end management and monitoring of grants in a multi-sector portfolio supported by the H T Parekh Foundation. The candidate will also contribute towards the research and evaluation efforts at the Foundation and support the Communications team with various events and initiatives. This is a full-time work-from-office position. "
Job Description
"1. Working as an integral part of the programme team, on projects across multiple sectors,
largely involving education, healthcare, disability and capacity building grants across India.
2. Liaising with multiple non-profit partners from across sectors with clear communication,
regular updates and collaborative problem solving to ensure project success and alignment
with the grant objectives.
3. Supporting the programme team in identifying new partners to conceptualize impactful
projects under different areas of interest for the Foundation.
4. Undertaking timely site visits to monitor the progress of the projects and providing regular
support to the partners to help them meet their project goals and objectives.
5. Ensuring compliance requirements and relevant regulations of the Foundation are met by
the partners with timely updates, crucial for maintaining grant integrity.
6. Assisting the programme team in preparation of MIS, presentations and various reports for
the management.
7. Assisting the programme team in documentation and data analysis.
8. Supporting the programme/communications team with any events, conferences and white
papers etc. as per need.
9. Staying updated on evolving regulations, best practices and emerging trends in the
development and philanthropic sectors, incorporating them into organizational knowledge
building."
Required & Preferred Qualifications
Skill
"▪ Master’s degree in development studies/education/social work or related field. ▪ 3-4 years of work experience in the development sector. ▪ Good written and verbal communication skills and basic financial skills. ▪ Ability to build relationships with partners. ▪ An interest and basic understanding of any one or more of these thematic areas; children’s literature, libraries, foundational learning, livelihood, healthcare, disability and capacity building. ▪ Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the Foundation’s goals as a good team member. ▪ Passion to work in, learn and contribute to the social sector."
