Overview of the Role
The Senior Manager – M&E and Impact will lead the strategic planning, design, and execution of monitoring and evaluation systems across all UWBe programs. The role focuses on data-driven impact assessment, evidence-based learning, and strategic insights to enhance program outcomes and strengthen donor confidence.
Job Description
• Design and implement organization-wide M&E strategies and logical frameworks.
• Manage baseline, midline, and impact evaluations; translate findings into actionable insights.
• Build and lead the M&E team while training field staff and partners on best practices.
• Develop centralized MIS systems and dashboards for real-time monitoring.
• Conduct field visits for validation, quality assurance, and adaptive learning.
• Collaborate with program, communication, and finance teams for integrated reporting.
• Contribute to proposals and donor presentations using data-driven evidence.
Required & Preferred Qualifications
Skill
• Proven expertise in M&E frameworks, data analysis, and research design.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, SPSS/STATA/R, and data collection tools (ODK, Kobo, SurveyCTO).
• Experience in CSR, nonprofit, or development sector preferred.
Education
Graduate/Postgraduate in Development Studies, Public Policy, Statistics, Economics, or related fields.
Experience
15+ years of experience, with 10+ years in M&E leadership roles. Fluency in English and Hindi; Kannada preferred. Willingness to travel for field monitoring.
