Overview of the Role
Muskaan Dreams is seeking a dynamic and seasoned individual to join our team as the Lead Communications. This role will be pivotal in shaping the organisation's marketing and branding strategies to effectively communicate our mission, vision, and impact to diverse stakeholders. The Lead of communications will lead efforts to build and strengthen the Muskaan Dreams brand, increase awareness of our initiatives, and engage stakeholders to drive meaningful change. As a mid-senior role, the Lead Communications will play a pivotal role in driving the nonprofit's communications and marketing strategy to achieve its mission and amplify its impact.
Job Description
1. Develop Communication & Marketing Strategy
Collaborate with senior leadership to define objectives, strategies, and tactics aligned with organizational goals.
Build and execute strategic communication plans to enhance brand awareness and visibility.
2. Strategic Partnerships & Public Relations
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to expand outreach and visibility.
- Boost public relations efforts through meaningful collaborations and media engagement.
3. Content Creation
- Oversee the creation of compelling and impactful content across platforms, including podcasts, videos, social media, newsletters, and marketing collateral.
- Craft stories, case studies, and multimedia content that highlight programs, achievements, and the organization’s overall impact.
4. Digital Marketing
- Lead digital marketing efforts, leveraging SEO, SEM, email campaigns, and social media to drive engagement and expand online presence.
- Develop strategies to reach target audiences and enhance traffic to organizational platforms.
5. Brand Management
- Innovate and maintain brand guidelines, messaging frameworks, and visual assets to ensure consistent communication of the mission and values.
- Strengthen the organization’s brand positioning and storytelling.
6. Community Engagement
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, volunteers, and beneficiaries.
- Foster a sense of community and engagement across diverse audiences.
7. Campaign Management
- Plan, execute, and monitor integrated marketing campaigns for initiatives, events, and fundraising efforts.
- Analyze campaign performance, optimize strategies, and report on key metrics to achieve desired outcomes.
8. Team Leadership & Operations
- Oversee operations and ensure seamless execution of communication activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align communications with program goals and organizational objectives.

Education
Bachelors/Masters degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience
