Overview of the Role


Seeking a proactive and highly organized Project Officer to join the Urban RI Project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project documentation, facilitating communication with state- level partners, conducting data analysis, and providing comprehensive support to the project team, including the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) unit

Job Description


A. Technical Support
• Support in developing an Integrated Urban Health Action Plan with the core strategy of boosting Primary Health Care integration via enhanced AAM service delivery in coordination with the district team.
• Support in developing an urban specific MR elimination and VPD pandemic preparedness and outbreak response plan.
• Collect, clean, and analyze project-related data to track progress against key performance
indicators.
• Interpret data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to the project team.
• Support development of research protocols, tools, and literature review as per the need of the program.
B. Project Management:
• Maintain a comprehensive documentation repository for project activities, reports, and
presentations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports and ensure timely submission.
• Draft case studies, success stories, field visit notes, and project briefs.
• Coordinate, collect, compile, and manage project data from field teams and partner organizations.
• Develop presentations and communication materials for review meetings and stakeholder
workshops.
• Attend key project meetings, record detailed and accurate minutes, and circulate them to relevant
team members and partners in a timely manner.
• Facilitating effective communication and coordination with the field team and national team to ensure project alignment and smooth implementation.
• Frequent travel to urban districts, AAM facilities, Medical Education and municipal corporations as required.
• Ability to respond and carry out other Urban Health and immunization activities as suggested by the supervisor
- The position requires travel to in the state as per project requirement.
- Respond to and carry out other technical activities as per project requirements.
- Coordinate efforts and support other projects within the organization.
- No remote or hybrid work options are available for this position.


Required & Preferred Qualifications


Skill

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Canva is essential.
• Experience with data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, Stata, or advanced Excel) is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Hindi.
• Demonstrated ability to write reports, case studies, and meeting minutes clearly and concisely.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team and with external partners.

Education

Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Management, or relevant field.

Experience

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in public health, specifically in urban Health and Routine Immunization programs. • Proven experience in data collection, cleaning, and analysis (quantitative and qualitative).
