Overview of the Role
The role involves overseeing and coordinating field operations to ensure effective project implementation in remote areas. It includes planning, tracking, and managing field activities and personnel, documenting progress, and preparing regular reports. The position also facilitates communication between field teams and the program office, providing feedback and support to achieve project goals and targets efficiently.
Job Description
a. Monitoring and Coordination of the field offices towards effective delivery of projects in remote areas and through field offices/partners.
b. Regular planning for and tracking & coordination of field activities, and deployment & management of field personnel, providing appropriate guidance for the achievement of related targets
c. Documentation of field activities and preparing regular reports on achievements and plan-to-results gap statements.
d. Providing regular feedback to the Programs team, and coordinating with it for project planning and achievement of project objectives.
Required & Preferred Qualifications
Education
Post graduate in development or a related field
Experience
Minimum of 7 years’ of experience in similar profile in the development sector with exposure to grassroots work in rural areas Good communication skills and managerial caliber; proficient in English language.
