Overview of the Role
Lead effective project planning and implementation to achieve defined objectives and impact outcomes. Collaborate closely with the partnerships team on proposal development and with program teams to ensure high-quality execution of deliverables. Oversee project schedules, financial management, and donor compliance, ensuring timely monitoring and reporting. Build capacity within field and project management teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and support crisis resolution. Drive continuous improvement by measuring performance, identifying risks, and applying corrective actions. Work with M&E teams, consultants, and partner organizations to strengthen impact and foster team growth.
Job Description
• Understand project objectives, scope and impact outcomes in discussion with the partnership team also support Partnership team in development of new proposals
• Work with the project managers and community/beneficiaries to plan, execute and achieve desired outcomes also to execute the project directly entrusted to him/her.
• Collaborate with program teams to ensure effective implementation of program
deliverables
• Develop and execute sound program management approach that includes building capacity of field teams, timely monitoring, financial oversight.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to enhance quality and effectiveness of program interventions. Oversee the detailed project schedule and work plan and ensure adherence to timelines.
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements in terms of project milestones, reporting and project financials.
• To review and plan for effective utilization of grants as per MCF
• To handhold & support the team members in crisis management
• Provide inputs for preparation of project documents and report writing.
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement, risks and take corrective measures accordingly.
• To support Partnership team in development of new proposals
• Work in tandem with the monitoring and evaluation team to capture project outcomes and progress on impact indicators.
• Work with consultants/ subject matter experts when required and gain expertise on project areas.
• Collaborate with multiple NGO partners when required.
• Groom Project managers and help with their self-development.
Required & Preferred Qualifications
Education
Master's degree in social work/Sociology (Community Development) or a related field.
