Overview of the Role
We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Wealth Services Engineering team. This role is located in Pune.
Job Description
• Engage with technical stakeholders to gather requirements and present concise summaries of proposed database and full-stack solutions.
• Clearly communicate technical concepts, data models, and solutions to team members and stakeholders to facilitate understanding and alignment.
• Identify and recommend opportunities to introduce new data processes, frameworks, or architectures that enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with the broader team to jointly design new features for data-driven applications and deliver incremental enhancements.
• Contribute actively to peer code and data pipeline reviews, ensuring high standards for database design, data integrity, and performance while balancing technical debt with delivery objectives.
Required & Preferred Qualifications
Skill
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure, including deploying and managing data solutions
• Strong understanding of database fundamentals, ELT/ETL processes, and best practices for data governance, security, and compliance
• Ability to collaborate with end users, stakeholders, and fellow team members to deliver effective data solutions
• Continuous desire to expand knowledge, adopt new technologies, and champion best practices within the team
• Ability to communicate abstract or complex database and architectural concepts with clarity to both technical and non-technical audiences
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field; advanced degree preferred
Experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience in data technology • Expertise in Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics, including data modeling, optimization, and advanced SQL development • Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines using dbt (Data Build Tool) • Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and backend development • Experience developing full-stack applications with Dash (for interactive data visualization) and other modern UI frameworks
