Overview of the Role
We are seeking a passionate and grounded Programme Lead to anchor, manage, and scale the Kashvi Manzil vertical in Jharkhand, beginning with Ranchi district. The ideal candidate brings experience in education, gender, or community development and is committed to advancing the rights and aspirations of adolescent girls and young women. The Programme Lead will be responsible for leading programme implementation, managing centre teams, ensuring academic and operational quality, strengthening community engagement, and aligning field-level execution with the vision and priorities of the Kashvi Trust. The role also includes the ability to understand, oversee, and monitor the integration of technology into learning delivery, operations, and programme reporting wherever appropriate They will also be expected to drive an open, transparent, and collaborative culture within the team and with stakeholders to enable meaningful, sustained change on the ground.
Job Description
1. Programme Management and Implementation
• Lead the day-to-day implementation of the Kashvi Manzil programme across centres in Ranchi
• Ensure academic, life skills, and outreach components are integrated and effectively delivered
• Develop and oversee centre-level calendars, timetables, and monthly work plans
2. Team Leadership and Capacity Building
• Supervise and support the Academic Lead, Mentors, Teachers, and Assistant Coordinators
• Facilitate regular team check-ins, planning sessions, and reflection meetings
• Drive a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability across teams
3. Community and Stakeholder Engagement
• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with community leaders, families, and local institutions
• Strengthen outreach and enrolment strategies to reach out-of-school girls and women
• Ensure the programme remains responsive to learner needs and grounded in local realities
4. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Documentation
• Work with the M&E Assistant to ensure timely data collection, learning tracking, and reporting
• Monitor key programme indicators and identify course corrections as needed
• Support documentation of success stories, field insights, and learnings
5. Technology Integration Oversight
• Understand, oversee, and monitor the use of technology tools across academic delivery, centre operations, and reporting
• Support field teams in adopting tech tools and ensure they are integrated meaningfully and accessibly
• Collaborate with the Tech Assistant to troubleshoot, plan, and innovate techbased solutions in low-resource contexts
6. Coordination and Organisational Alignment
• Liaise with Kashvi Disha and Kashvi Udaan teams to ensure learner pathways and transitions
• Coordinate with backend teams for smooth functioning (finance, admin, tech)
• Contribute to strategic reviews and organisational planning at the programme level
Required & Preferred Qualifications
Skill
• Strong understanding of gender, education, and community development
• Ability to manage multi-stakeholder teams with clarity, empathy, and
accountability
• Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand, oversee, and monitor tech integration in programme
delivery and reporting
• Excellent communication skills in Hindi; working knowledge of English is
desirable
• Comfort with digital tools (Google Workspace, basic Excel, WhatsApp-based
reporting, etc.)

Education
Master’s degree in education, social work, gender studies, development, or a related field
Experience
• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role • Experience in grassroots programme implementation, preferably in the education or gender sector • Prior experience managing field teams and working in community-based settings
