Overview of the Role
The role involves leading a field team to plan, execute, and monitor community-based development projects. It includes engaging with local stakeholders, facilitating capacity-building sessions on key social and livelihood issues, and ensuring effective coordination with internal and external partners. The position also requires regular reporting, building linkages with government and community organizations, and advocating for the inclusion and rights of women, children, and marginalized groups.
Job Description
• Lead and manage a field team of 5–6 members for project planning and execution, day to day management, supervision and monitoring of work.
• Proper coordination with team, RRC-in-charge and HO.
• Engage with village communities, SHGs, PRIs, and other local stakeholders to implement project activities.
• Conduct capacity-building sessions on Land and water, Livelihood Activities agriculture, women’s empowerment, child growth, gender issues, and life skills.
• Monitor project progress and prepare detailed physical and financial reports.
• Build linkages with government departments and community-based organizations.
• Advocate for the rights and inclusion of women, children, and marginalized communities.
Required & Preferred Qualifications
Skill
Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
Proficiency in local language and Hindi is preferred.
Education
Masters in Social Work (MSW), Rural Development, or related field, B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering/ Civil Engineering.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant field experience, preferably in the development sector. Experience working with, NRM, Rural communities, NGOs, and government stakeholders.
