Overview of the Role


Don Bosco Tech Society is looking for an organized and experienced trainer to provide complete training to underprivileged youth (based on knowledge and skills with materials, instructions, and other learning resources).

Job Description


• Adhere to the skill livelihood program training framework, policies, and guidelines.
• Responsible for all the activities including operation and administrative related to project deliverables and center agreement.
• Supervise the attendance management of trainees for each batch of the training program.
• Works under the direction of the regional manager and in collaboration with other departments in the exercise of the tasks.
• Working closely and engaging with district/block officials in ensuring program delivery.
• Preparation of overall strategic plan, based on local context and organizational vision for the respective cluster and continuously reviewing the same.
• Ensures staff are consistently complying and adhering to policies, procedures and guidelines articulated by organization.
• Liaison with stakeholders such as local government representatives, NGO partners, school administrators and parent groups to represent skill training program and branding & networking.
• Attends to donor affairs including hosting donor and project site visits in collaboration with center team.
• Develop and lead media advocacy plan, dissemination of program results, sharing program report to concerned for the state.
• Assist communication team in promotion of programs through active media Liasoning in state in accordance with the strategy, policies and guidelines.
• Ensures efficient and effective coordination across state.
• Supervises and oversees the work of the field staff and is responsible for optimizing theirproductivity through effective management and leadership techniques.
• Supports in capacity building of staffs consistently.
• Ensures the performance management process is well- planned and conducted in a timely for all field staff.
• Collaborates with Human Resources to handle recruitment and training of staff according to need.
• Leads and facilitates field staff in bi-weekly or monthly meetings to review progress against plans, find solutions to problems, share lessons learned, exchange expertise across programs, and to motivate and encourage teamwork.
• Ensures that field-staff are aware of and understand the programs' goals and
objectives, working approaches and methodology, and have all necessary information related to annual plans, targets, and implementation calendars.
• Conducts regular monitoring visits to verify the programs 'progress and impact, understand the challenges and needs of stakeholders, and suggest appropriate solutions.
• Supervise fund disbursement, reviews and approves the field monthly and quarterly financial expenses in accordance with financial and purchasing policy and procedures.
• Prepares high quality monthly and quarterly donor programmatic reports.
• Ensuring preparation of appropriate case studies for submission to donors/communication team Percentages of work of State Coordinator
• Responsible to ensure for the advance request with the State Finance Department, if the amount is limited to approved project budget
• Delegate the responsibility during the long absence of a team member
• Ensure the smooth handover and knowledge transfer to new team member•


Required & Preferred Qualifications


Skill

• Confident public speaker and a devoted educator who is up-to-date on the latest tools and resources to provide training
• Capacity building and training skills
• Fluency in English (both oral and written)
• Excellent Communication, Interpersonal skills & facilitation skills
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Must be familiar with local language

Education

Bachelor / Master’s degree in any field

Experience

At least 5–7 years of experience in national-level operations. Computer knowledge (MS Office applications) Proficient in English Language
