EquiLead Café — our space for women+ leaders to pause reflect and connect — is back with Behind the Scenes of Confidence featuring Priya Thuvassery. For over 15 years Priya has created films that challenge gender inequality and amplify women’s voices from Coral Woman to City Girls. She is also a Global Ford Fellow INLAKS Fellow and currently the Co-CEO of Chambal Media.
In this conversation Priya swaps the director’s chair for the hot seat — opening up about the struggles she still faces as a leader and what it means to carry confidence when the cameras aren’t rolling.
