Position Summary:
As our Strategy and Partnerships Lead, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing Kaboom's vision and partnership strategy in the SBCC and communications field. Your role will involve developing strategic initiatives, fostering key relationships, driving new business opportunities, and ensuring our projects and campaigns are successfully delivered. You will act as an interface between the partners, clients and the internal research and creative teams. Key Responsibilities:
Program Strategy and Management:
- Develop and implement program strategies aligned with Kaboom’s mission and goals.
- Lead large-scale narrative shift and SBCC campaigns.
- Oversee development of frameworks, tools, and processes for effective delivery and impact measurement.
- Conduct regular program reviews for continuous improvement.
- Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless implementation.
Strategic Partnerships:
- Identify and manage strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Develop a comprehensive partnership strategy to expand our reach and impact.
- Negotiate partnership agreements and represent Kaboom at events.
- Collaborate internally to leverage partnerships for program success.
Business Development:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with Kaboom’s mission.
- Maintain a pipeline of potential clients and partners.
- Lead the proposal development process, including writing proposals and creating budgets.
- Negotiate contracts and stay abreast of industry trends.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as the primary contact for key clients and partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs.
- Provide strategic advice to enhance client SBCC initiatives.
- Facilitate regular communication and reporting.
Background and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (preferred) in communications, management, public health, social sciences, business administration, or a related field.
- Atleast 5+ years of mid to senior level experience in program management, strategic partnerships, business development, or related roles.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful SBCC programs and partnerships.
- Experience in business development and securing new clients.
- Strong understanding of social impact issues and the nonprofit sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
