About Latika
Latika (formerly the Latika Roy Foundation) is a non-profit organization located in Dehradun, India. Our mission is to provide specialized local services for children with disabilities and their families, and help others to do the same.
We provide outreach, training, and advocacy throughout the state and across the country. Our team consists of 129 professionals and para-professionals, each one dedicated to the cause of full inclusion for all.
Responsibilities
The Senior Mental Health Professional will be responsible for
- Creating and leading a Mental Health department at Latika
- Devising Latika's mental health policy
- Facilitating individual and group interventions and overseeing the overall mental health wellbeing of staff, children and their families together with the team of psychologists and counsellors.
- Guiding and supporting the psychologists and counsellors in their day-to-day work by observing, providing on-job support and regular supervisory meetings.
- Maintaining accurate and updated reports and documents (online and offline).
- Ensuring the integration of MH in all aspects of LRF programming
- Training staff all levels periodically
- Managing a caseload
- Participating in Senior Staff meetings
Qualifications
UG/PG (M.Sc. or MA) in Psychology, Applied Psychology, Rehabilitation Psychology or Clinical Psychology, or Masters in Applied Mental Health Science or Social Work (MSW) or PhD in Psychology.
Required
At least ten years oexperience in a senior role
- Excellent computer-based documentation and presentation skills
- Fluent in both English and Hindi
- Both RCI-registered and non-registered may apply but preference will be given to the former.
This is a full-time on-site role at Latika, Dehradun.
