General:

● Prepare the Unit work-plan and budgets, and set up qualitative and quantitative goals for the unit and outline member roles and responsibilities.

● Prepare individual work plans and co-related budgets in consultation with the program team,

● Prepare monthly reports

● Lead team review and planning meetings

● Provide required assistance tot team members to ensure successful completion of identified tasks,

● Undertake all other tasks as per instructions in order to ensure a smooth functioning of the program support unit and to fulfill the objectives of the organisation.

● All other work related to HR

Human Resource

● Lead and support end-to-end recruitment and on-boarding processes

● Ensure coordination of all on-boarding and off-boarding activities, including completion of relevant documents based on organisational need and local labor laws

● Responsible for employee life cycle events like Transfer, Confirmation, Re-designation etc.

● Coordination of talent management programs as they are developed and implemented.

● Lead employee engagement Programs

● Create and maintain personnel files /records

● Manage absence management information and data, ensuring attendance records, time sheets and leave balances are maintained, including necessary approvals for payroll processing.

● Provide support in facilitating payroll, compliances and procurement process, as needed

● Lead employee capacity building programs, employee learning and development activities

● Lead the implementation of staff programs and policies

● Ensure all staff are oriented to HR policies and procedures on a regular basis.

● Ensure staff acknowledgment on key policies and procedures such as, Code of Conduct, Child Safeguarding policy, etc. are obtained, updated and filed.

● Lead and conduct/Organise Performance Management, Buddy Program for employees

● Handle statutory and HR Funder audits from time to time

● Generate and Analyze MIS Reports on a timely basis

● Ensure Data Accuracy of the HR Systems

● Responsible for generation of contracts, employment and other HR related letters

● Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, conducting reference checks and issuing employment contracts

● Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise

● Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies

● Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organisational Development, or a related field is required.

● Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, or a related discipline is preferred.

Experience:

● Minimum of 7-10 years of HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior HR role within an NGO or non-profit environment will be preferred.

● Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and other HR-related software.

● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

● Strong organisational and leadership abilities, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

● Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse environment.

● Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to use HR metrics to drive decision-making.

● Strong ethical standards and a commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
