About the role

As GCPL DEI Executive, you will be a primary custodian in executing DEI plans, globally taking full ownership of governance, reviews and facilitating expertise when internal stakeholders experience roadblocks in hiring. You will be a critical partner, in driving cultural change at GCPL by advancing key initiatives within the organization that ensure the workforce is representative of the diverse communities and customers we serve. You will be instrumental in helping create a work environment where everyone feels valued, engaged, and has a high level of trust.

What impact will you create?

You will serve as a catalyst for change, and institutional resource focused on embedding DEI into GCPL’s organization’s programs and operations. You will lead your efforts, in partnership with GCPL Head – DEI, and Hr Partners across global locations. You will report to GCPL Head – DEI.

  • Support in creating the Annual Operating Plan & budgets based on the global DEI strategy, tailored to the evolving business context.
  • Ensure adherence to plans & budgets, along with clear governance mechanism to measure and report progress in the KPIs that we’ve outlined.
  • Governance meetings planned group-wide & globally.
  • Program manage initiatives related to Talent Attraction, Hiring, Retention & Engagement of Historically-excluded groups like Women, LGBTQIA+, PWD & others to establish and deliver the experience of GCPL as an Equal Opportunity employer.
  • Assist in design and implementation of Inclusive policies for Historically-excluded groups.
  • Actively work towards innovating awareness and sensitization platforms for all employees, across geographies on various topics related to DEI sensitization.
  • Establish consistency in GCPL’s policies, globally.
  • Support participation in external benchmarking, industry & internal connect DEI platforms.
  • Support GCPL’s ERGs and DEI communication campaigns.
  • Collaborate with various teams across GCPL – Legal, Product, CSR, Corporate Communications, and others – to integrate the DEI agenda into various GCPL functions.

Who are we looking for?

  • A masters degree in Psychology/ HR / Law
  • Overall corporate experience of 4 to 5 years, with at least 2 years in the DEI function

Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Creating MIS reports & systems orientation.
  • Experience in Project planning& Program management.
  • Stakeholder management– internal leaders, peers, global teams & externally– consulting partners.

Functional & Behavioural Capabilities

  • Fair understanding of DEI principles and strategy
  • Has worked to create positive impact for one or many historically excluded groups in the workplace.
  • High degree of emotional and social awareness
  • Good interpersonal skills in one on one and group settings
  • Good understanding of the latest DEI and workplace trends, locally and globally
  • Very strong influencing ability – capacity to work and collaborate with people within and outside the organization
