Kshetra Foundation for Dialogue (www.kshetra.space) aims to develop a societal muscle for dialogue based on a practice framework called the Dialogic Method - a concrete, skill-based approach, which draws on multiple disciplines including mediation, cognitive psychology, behavioural change and systems thinking to help varied end-users harness dialogue towards different purposes, all with the goal of creating sustainable outcomes.
Kshetra currently works along multiple integrated verticals, which range in scope from building individual, community, and organisational capacity for dialogue to helping curate spaces that foster dialogic behaviours (and therefore, dialogic outcomes) and creating a culture and language where dialogue is a default societal response.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Associate for our Research and Design segment who will work closely with the team in shaping our knowledge management strategies and research initiatives.
Below are the key roles and responsibilities of the Senior Associate: Research and Design. However, it is to be noted that Kshetra is continuously learning and evolving and therefore, not all tasks and responsibilities required to be taken up over the next year can be fully identified. It is also highlighted that all members of Kshetra team work across multiple verticals, and that while the Senior Associate will report to a designated team member, their immersion and engagement across all other verticals is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Knowledge Management & Strategy
● Develop and implement comprehensive knowledge management strategies
● Lead initiatives to improve internal efficiency and external stakeholder engagement
● Design and maintain systems for effective knowledge sharing across the organization
Research, Documentation & Design
● Conduct in-depth secondary research across various projects and verticals
● Lead development of white papers and research publications in collaboration with team members and external resource persons as required
● Provide research support for developing new curricula, and for designing and developing toolkits for the same
● Provide research support for developing narratives for the creating curricula specific to organisations and their offerings
Content Management & Communication
● Manage the organization's blog in association with the corporate communications team, ensuring high-quality content reflecting the organisations learning and impact
● Curate and produce regular research-based updates (monthly and quarterly) for internal teams and network partners
● Develop engaging content that effectively communicates research findings and project updates
Organizational Management and Admin/Operations Support
● Partner outreach and management support
● Support the execution of events and workshop deliveries
● Create knowledge products from ongoing research work
● Internal process capture and documentation support – updating and managing workflow timelines
● Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Essential Capacities and Skills
● Master's degree in relevant field (Social Sciences, Communications, or related discipline)
● 3-5 years of experience in research, knowledge management, or similar role
● Proficiency in knowledge management tools and systems
● Strong analytical and research skills with ability to synthesise complex information
● Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills in different Indian languages if possible.
● Experience in content creation and management
● Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
● Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage diverse stakeholders ● Ability to think through open-ended problems and take initiative in non-structured environments (self-starter)
● Like to take initiative in research and proactively attempt to bridge gaps in procedures or design
