Job Summary
United Way Hyderabad is hiring a Senior Associate to join our Community Impact department. This role involves supporting community-level initiatives, mobilizing local groups, monitoring project progress, and coordinating with government entities. The ideal candidate is passionate about community development, has relevant experience, and is willing to travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Community Mobilization: Engage with communities, village groups, and local representatives to support project implementation.
- Meeting Coordination: Conduct convergence meetings at village levels for civil work execution.
- Project Monitoring: Track project progress and collaborate with assigned teams at respective locations.
- Government Coordination: Obtain necessary project approvals and coordinate with government departments.
- Documentation: Prepare project documentation as per audit and compliance requirements.
- Managerial Support: Assist the reporting manager with daily operations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate stakeholder visits in the field.
- Travel: Conduct inter-state travel for project progress monitoring.
Desired Experience
- Work Experience: 4-6 years of relevant experience.
- NGO Experience: Preference for candidates with NGO experience, especially those who have worked with farmers, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), or in project implementation.

Educational Qualifications
- Minimum Requirement: Graduation or equivalent education from a recognized university.
- Preferred Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Rural Development, or Sociology.
Note - 40,000 to 55,000 per month + travel compensation as per organization policy
