About the Role

As a Senior Analyst at Arcus Policy Research, you will be responsible for:

1. Contributing to research projects and implementing innovative strategies to raise farmers' incomes, including evaluating these innovations.

2. Conducting quantitative and qualitative data analysis using appropriate statistical and econometric techniques to derive insights relevant to the research objectives.

3. Contributing to the publication of research findings in peer-reviewed journals, policy briefs, bulletins, and other relevant outlets to disseminate knowledge and advance the field.

4. Engaging with policymakers, stakeholders, and other relevant groups to communicate research findings, influence policy decisions, and contribute to evidence-based policy formulation and implementation.

5. Providing mentorship to junior research staff, including research fellows, associates, and assistants, to support their professional development and contribute to the overall success of the research team.

6. Disseminating research findings through conferences, workshops, seminars, podcasts, and other communication platforms.

7. Co-authoring reports, issue briefs, and developing ideas for blogs and other outreach submissions based on research.

8. Staying abreast of the latest developments, trends, and best practices in the field of agricultural policy/economics through continuous learning, networking, and participation in relevant professional activities.

Job Requirements

• A PhD in economics/statistics or related fields from a reputed institute or university in India or abroad with minimum 3 years of relevant research experience. Candidates with a master’s degree with minimum 5 years of experience can also apply.

• Strong expertise in conducting both quantitative and qualitative data analysis using statistical and econometric methods.

• Proven ability to publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals, policy briefs, bulletins, and other relevant publications.

• Experience in engaging with policymakers, stakeholders, and other groups to effectively communicate research findings and influence policy decisions.

• Willingness to travel as required for project-related activities.

• Experience in disseminating research findings through conferences, workshops, seminars, podcasts, and other communication platforms.

Location
