SwaTaleem Foundation

SwaTaleem Foundation is an India and US registered civil society organization that works in the domain of Girls’ education by improving the learning ambience of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) in Haryana. Its emphasis is on enhancing long-term educational and life outcomes of Girls through a community-centric approach backed by evidence-based pedagogy. It engages with Girls,
teachers, schools, government officials and parents.

Due to the nature of our work and the team configuration, this role is open only to female candidates.

Roles and Responsibilities

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
● Conduct research on existing SEL programs both in India and internationally, and compile information on successful models and practices.
● Design/support the development of modules on SEL themes and other critical skills for adolescent girls.
● Collaborate with programme staff and stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of current programmes.
● Observe programme activities and interactions on the ground to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
● Assist in building the capacity of the field team through training sessions and other support.

Qualifications

● Demonstrated interest in social impact and development.
● Minimum 2-3 years of work experience, with at least 1 years of hands-on grassroots experience.
● Previous experience in research, designing lesson plans and facilitating experiential learning.

Location: Delhi, with frequent travels to Haryana or upcoming states for observation/ support purposes.
Remuneration: Rs. 45,000/ month
Deadline: Urgent, on a rolling basis.
