Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Rural Livelihood Program Lead to join our team in Mumbai. This full-time, on-site role involves overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our rural livelihood initiatives. You will design and implement sustainable livelihood programs, conduct research and analysis, build strategic partnerships, and provide training and support to program participants. Your efforts will help expand our reach and ensure the long-term success of our projects aimed at enhancing employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities in rural areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Leadership: Oversee the landscape of employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities in rural regions, and develop financial, market, and government linkages.
- Government Liaison: Work closely with government officials to facilitate initiatives for people with disabilities under various government schemes.
- Sustainable Model Development: Build and consolidate a replicable and sustainable model for rural livelihoods, leveraging market insights to establish potential partnerships.
- Strategic Initiatives: Develop initiatives aimed at enhancing project visibility and raising awareness about inclusive employment practices.
- Project Management: Establish measurable goals, monitor progress, and ensure the effective implementation of project activities within timelines and budgetary constraints.
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture that promotes continuous improvement.
- Outreach and Networking: Expand the organizational network through targeted outreach and strong planning, enhancing the impact and sustainability of our programs.
- Reporting and Analysis: Analyze partner initiatives, forecast strategic changes, and report on key metrics, including donor reporting.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Postgraduate degree in Rural Development from reputed institutions like IRMA, IFM, IIFM, KIIT, XISS, NIRD, or Manage Hyderabad.
- Experience: 5-8 years of experience in rural livelihood programs, with a strong understanding of NRLM functioning and community development.
- Skills: Proven program management and analytical skills, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, and experience in training and capacity building.
- Leadership: Experience in managing a team of 3-8 members, with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Compensation
- Salary: Rs. 75,000 - Rs. 90,000 per month
- Location: Mumbai – Onsite, full-time
