About the organization
Founded in 1997 and registered as a public charitable trust in January 2000, SRIJAN is a grassroots implementation and support agency, committed to promoting sustainable and self-reliant models of rural development through interventions in agriculture, horticulture, natural resource management, livestock.
Location: Delhi
Compensation: Rs 50,000 plus (As per work experience). There are communication expenses and travel expenses covered by the organization. Group personal/accidental/medical insurance facilities included
Experience
1) 3-5 years of experience in knowledge management, communication, documentation in the development sector
2) Experience working with FPOs, farmer collectives, or rural livelihoods programs
3) Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi
4) Conceptualize and create high-quality reports, presentations, and content
5) Proficiency in MS Office, especially EXCEL, Google Sheets, graphic design tools
6) Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation tools
7) Ability to travel extensively
8) Work independently with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
Knowledge Building
1) Collect, organize, and analyze data, lessons learned, and best practices from project activities.
2) Develop training manuals, toolkits, and guidelines for FPO members/ stakeholders
3) Facilitate internal knowledge-sharing sessions to ensure cross-learning among project teams and FPOs.
Communication
1) Develop high-quality materials, such as, newsletters, case studies, success stories, reports, to promote SRIJAN’s FPO initiatives
2) Branding of SRIJAN FPO related work in print and digital platforms
3) Collaborate with program teams to design and implement communication campaigns for stakeholders such as donors/government agencies/farmers
Documentation
1) Systematic documentation of project activities, outputs, and impacts
2) Preparation of periodic project reports for donors/stakeholders
Stakeholder Engagement
1) Coordinate with project teams, FPO leaders, external stakeholders to gather relevant information
2) Support the organization of events such as buyer-seller meets, exposure visits, and workshops by preparing communication materials
Monitoring & Evaluation
1) Work with the M&E team to develop knowledge products based on data ,impact assessments
2) Create visual and narrative of monitoring data to highlight project achievements/areas for improvement
3) Baseline & Endline data collection
Other tasks
1) Managing project activities including organizing learning workshops, seminars, and conferences.
2) Day-to-day dealing with consultants/facilitators/third-party agencies3. Any other task assigned by the management
Qualification
1) Master’s degree in Rural Development, Social Sciences, Journalism, Mass Communication, other related fields
