Overview of the Role
- You will be running training sessions for our flagship program Global Challenges & Social Justice, Reimagining Global Challenges for high school students across 10 themes linked to United Nations SDGs.
- You will play a vital role in facilitating the learning and development of individuals in various contexts. Your responsibilities encompass designing and delivering content, assessing progress, adapting to the needs of learners, and ultimately contributing to the growth and success of the students.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Training and community engagement: Conducting Daily training sessions on topics including Digital Literacy, Gender, and Education, Social entrepreneurship for High School Students & College students from 2-7pm IST.
- Inspire students to show up for classes and be ready for internship opportunities.
- Make the classes fun and engaging for the participating students.
- Curriculum Development: Create lesson plans with your team and impart the curriculum.
- Client servicing: Managing student and parent expectations. Guide students in choosing the right topics
- Documenting and Reporting: Maintain the dashboard of student learning for high school, college students and their progress.
- Assessment: Assessing and measuring the results of training.
- Representing TFG at webinars, guest lectures in schools
What are we looking for? (Our Requirements)
A person who has managed external stakeholders and has a strong interest in the education space.
- Teaching: You have prior experience/ a keen interest in teaching young students from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds
- Communication: You are a good communicator and enjoy assisting and hanging out with young beneficiaries
- Hustler: Your friends would describe you as a hustler and love to work on multiple projects
- Subject Matter Expertise: You have a strong interest in social/ environmental issues in India
- Problem Solving: When challenges arise during training sessions, such as technical issues or participant misunderstandings, trainers need to think on their feet and find effective solutions to ensure the smooth continuation of the training.
This role is best suited for individuals who love teaching and imparting skills to young individuals and have a strong desire to bring in social change and make a difference.
Location: The role is for candidates based only in Delhi, Mumbai, or Bangalore | Full Time
Languages: English & Hindi (Hindi is mandatory)
Education: Masters Degree
Experience: 5+ years (2 years in teaching)
