Mental Health Focus Area Under our Mental Health Theme, we bridge the treatment gap in mental health across India by supporting organizations that provide evidence-based bio-psycho-social interventions. Our focus includes recovery-oriented care, both through institution-based and community-based models, and enhancing access to rights and entitlements. We are also committed to ecosystem development by building the capacity of frontline workers, public health systems, caregivers, and organizations dedicated to mental health.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scoping and programmatic due diligence of mental health organizations.
- Review proposals to ensure comprehensive information, including organizational purpose and impact.
- Engage in dialogue with partner organizations to assess the impact of their work.
- Guide organizations in budget preparation and collaborate with the finance team on budget review and financial due diligence.
- Lead the grant-making process for assigned organizations, ensuring compliance with the Foundation’s guidelines.
- Manage the grant lifecycle through our grant management system.
What We’re Looking For
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in the mental health sector, with a focus on program implementation and management.
- A strong understanding of government initiatives and schemes related to mental health.
- Experience in grant-making, program budgeting, and fundraising.
- Proven track record of significant contributions in the mental health domain.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- High self-motivation, creativity, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
