About the organization
Established in 2006, Society for Labour and Development (SLD) strives to uphold the rights of workers (labour), extending unconditional support to them. With a pan India presence through a strong partner network and with our own footprint in Delhi-NCR, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, SLD steps in with robust advocacy and capacity building interventions, that bring about sensitisation and raising awareness amongst workers about their rights. Thereby helping build dialogue with industries, to ensure that workers welfare is paramount.

Scope of work
The Program Manager will be responsible for coordinating project work-plan performance, participate in project planning and its implementation in project sites to monitor the implementation of activities, gather feedback from beneficiaries and submit detailed report about the activities and findings. The Program Manager will report to the Associate Senior Manager - Programmes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Management to prepare periodic project reports based on accurate and evidence-based data /information to enhance quality of reporting.
- Contribute to ongoing assessments and analysis to understand the incidences of gender- based violence (GBV) at workplace and public places, to map points of strategies to bring about cases of GBV and vulnerable individuals, and work towards making these cases visible to the outside world.
- Working with field teams and supporting in field implementations in line with program plans.
- Work with teams and communities to develop appropriate prevention and awareness- raising/behavior change strategies
- Prepare modules, conduct gender based trainings to develop the capacity of women workers in the community
- Conduct research work including data collection on ground and contribute in writing and publishing of reports
- Support in building capacity of team members consistently to make sure there is upward growth of team members.
- Enhancing visibility of organization amongst the NGO and other stakeholders, working on funding proposals along Associate Senior Manager.
- Development and execution of project deliverables, lead project planning, budgeting, action plans and monitor processes.
- Organize and execute events, meetings, workshops, trainings and other community-related activities to spread awareness about GBVH.
- Work closely with SLD’s communications team to highlight the program on different social media platforms.
Perform other related activities as assigned to ensure proficient functioning.
Qualification and Experiences
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Development Studies or any other relevant field of study
- 3 - 5 years' experience in GBV program design and implementation or related sector
- Proven knowledge and experience in developing and implementing community mobilization projects and managing small to mid-size teams
- Data collection and collation skills, processing, analysis and report writing
- Relevant regional experience preferred
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, to remain flexible to a changing environment, and to make decisions independently
- Ability to work well with a cross-cultural team
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written with proficiency in English and Hindi
Remuneration
6-7 LPA (negotiable) Compensation will commensurate with experience/caliber and in line with the organizational structure. Candidates who can join sooner will be preferred.

Type of Appointment
Contractual appointment with fixed term of 12 months. Renewal thereafter on basis of performance and requirements of project/SLD.
