Key Responsibilities
Program Development and Management:
• Independent visualization of time bound, area level projects /programs.
• Linkage with all thematic projects on issue specific concerns, designing joint programs.
• Financial planning & budgeting at level of projects/program.
• Sanctioning budgets and vouchers as per authority vested.
• Co-ordination of work in specific areas – geographical, thematic, special programs, issues, and campaigns.
• Management and implementation of specified activities of units/program/process.
• Organizing training programs, workshops, seminars etc.
• Handling local/area project level meetings and dealing with community dynamics.
• Developing joint programs between local groups. Taking full responsibility for area – level people based programs.
• Designing & executing for campaigns.
• Building networks at the ward / city / state / interstate/ national level.
• Developing strategies for advocacy & lobbying work at all levels.
• Developing and maintaining relationship with media on program related initiatives.
• Representing organisation at all levels.
Organisational Development:
• Internalising organisational vision, strategies, and operationalising it.
• Maintaining a positive environment/climate for implementation moral/emotional well-being.
• Ensuring full productive engagement of team.
• Planning monitoring and review of team.
• Identifying gaps (perceptual, operational, systems) and initiating processes to address them.
• Articulating and preparing documents, reports, and correspondence.
• Administering/corresponding on a daily basis with timely response.
• Developing local leadership, giving ideological inputs and organisational processes.
• Participating and supporting the development of local networks, campaigns etc.
• Identifying training needs of mandals, local groups etc. and facilitating training sessions.
• Sharing Regular Program updates and reporting to Trustees.
• Building resource collaborations and consortium.
Human Resource Development:
• Facilitating and developing the team members.
• Maintaining morale and spirit of the team.
• Managing crisis and conflicts.
• Ensuring timely completion of staff performance appraisals.
• Demonstrative involvement with team – leading from the front.
• Implementation of the training plans for staff development through support from the unit.
• Orientating students, interns, and team members.
