Role Overview: Program Associate
As a Program Associate, you will facilitate art classes, engage with stakeholders, and monitor the implementation of our curriculum in schools. This role involves working closely with students, educators, and school administrators to enhance creative and SEL outcomes for students from Early Childhood Education to Grade 8.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitation and Evidence Building:
- Facilitate engaging art classes in model schools.
- Customize class plans to meet individual classroom needs.
- Capture classroom insights and evidence of student progress.
- Create teaching aids to support high-quality lesson execution.
- Track facilitation and behavioral progress using dashboards.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with school stakeholders, including parents, teachers, and principals.
- Ensure consistent implementation of Saturday Art Class (SArC) sessions.
- Collaborate on community and school-wide art initiatives.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Document best practices and areas for improvement.
- Collect baseline and endline data for assessments.
- Use the SArC WhatsApp Bot to gather educator feedback.
- Prepare timely reports for stakeholders.
Training Support:
- Lead art and SEL classes to model effective facilitation practices.
- Assist educators in overcoming classroom challenges.
- Provide registration and access support for the SArC WhatsApp Bot.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in teaching, facilitation, or data management.
- Undergraduate degree with a strong intellectual and creative inclination.
- Proficiency in English and Marathi (compulsory).
- Familiarity with Google Suite.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Innovative thinking and ability to generate creative solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Understanding of the education sector and art education practices.
