Job Summary:
The manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our programs, including managing a team of mentors and coaches, coordinating with partner organizations, developing and implementing strategies for student success, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the organization. The manager will also be involved in fundraising efforts, government partnership, building relationships with stakeholders, and monitoring the impact of our programs. The manager is required to conduct field visits to the partners and project location whenever required.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing the team in day-to-day operation while executing the ongoing programs
- Managing existing govt and corporate (CSR) partnerships and creating new partnerships
- Liaison with district administration including the tribal department and social welfare department in the district (with IAS officers)
- Coordination with school leaders from higher secondary schools
- Regular liaisons with the government official for execution of project partnership
- Compile and organize documentation related to partnerships and Eklavya’s organizational strategy
Skills and Qualifications:
- Postgraduate in Management/Social Sciences/Public Policy/Development Studies or relevant fields
- Experience of project management with government and corporate
- Familiarity with India’s Public Administration system
- Project management skills
- Data management and and data analysis skills
- Good communication, writing and presentation skills including proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to conduct office paperwork (in Marathi) and documentation
- Proposal writing and report writing
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Strong relationship management skill
- Risk assessment skill
- Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Knowledge of higher education and career systems and admission processes
- Experience in fundraising is preferred
- Passion for education equity and social impact especially intent to work for the cause of Eklavya
