About the Role:
The Outreach Coordinator will play a vital role in mobilizing youth from slum communities, fostering strong relationships, and empowering them through programs and initiatives. This role also involves engaging parents and acting as a role model to explain the program’s benefits for youth development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mobilize youth from underserved communities and establish healthy relationships with them.
- Act as a role model to explain the program and its advantages to youth and their parents.
Requirements:
- Education: Master’s in Social Work (MSW) or postgraduate degree in any field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in mobilization or outreach-based work (preferably in similar communities).
- Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office and GIS mapping (preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi, and local languages.
- Empathy and commitment to youth development and growth.
