Summary: Core team member managing and scaling the program in Maharashtra and other states.

- Over 26 million individuals in India have Intellectual Disability (ID).
- Jai Vakeel Foundation (JVF) is a non-profit established in 1944, focusing on individuals with ID.
- Serves over 750 individuals annually in Mumbai, Deolali, and Talegaon.
- Collaborates with 475 special schools across Maharashtra, influencing education for 20,000+ children.
- Focuses on inclusive education and rights for individuals with ID.
About the project (Disha Abhiyan)
- Initiative to create systemic change for children with ID.
- Builds and disseminates standardized curriculum to special schools.
- Provides training for implementation across 36 districts in Maharashtra.
- Partnership with Government of Maharashtra and Jai Vakeel Foundation.
- Curriculum certified by NIEPID.
4. Key Responsibilities
4.1. Program Management
- Liaison with government authorities.
- Coordinate with stakeholders for effective program implementation.
- Develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
- Build and manage external partnerships.
- Collect intelligence for scaling opportunities.
- Document case studies and best practices.
4.2. Data and Technology
- Streamline data collection processes.
- Analyze data for key program insights.
- Coordinate with the portal team for upgrades.
- Explore technology platforms for execution.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum Master’s degree; Bachelor’s with relevant experience considered.
- 4–6 years in project management, data analysis, and M&E techniques.
- Training and planning experience preferred.
- Proficiency in English, Marathi, and Hindi (written and verbal).
