Role Overview:
The Learning and Development Lead will spearhead the development of comprehensive educational resources, including handbooks, ready reckoners, manuals, and guides on key focus areas. This role requires a deep understanding of Gender-Based Violence, a rights-based survivor-centric approach, and the ability to translate complex concepts into accessible and actionable content.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Development:
- Design and develop handbooks, manuals, and training guides on GBV, Child Sexual Abuse, Domestic Violence PoSH, and allied topics.
- Ensure all materials are survivor-centric, trauma-informed, and rights-based.
- Tailor content to diverse audiences, including community leaders, stakeholders, and organizations.
Training and Capacity Building:
- Create training modules, ready reckoners, and guides for facilitators and participants.
- Collaborate with trainers to ensure alignment with organizational goals and contextual relevance.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and customize resources accordingly.
- Support teams in the implementation of training and learning materials.
Quality Assurance:
- Review and update content regularly to reflect the latest laws, policies, and best practices.
- Ensure all materials align with Sakshi’s vision and mission.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments to align resources with ongoing projects and programs.
- Liaise with subject matter experts, legal advisors, and field practitioners to validate content.
Education
- A postgraduate degree in Social Work, Gender Studies, Human Rights, Education, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification or training in trauma-informed care, rights-based approaches, or adult learning principles is an added advantage.
- Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in content development, training design, or learning and development, preferably in the social sector.
- Strong understanding of Gender-Based Violence, Child Sexual Abuse, Domestic Violence, PoSH, and allied topics.
- Proven experience in developing accessible and actionable educational materials for diverse audiences, including community leaders and organizations.
- Hands-on experience with stakeholder engagement and capacity-building initiatives.
- Familiarity with laws, policies, and best practices related to GBV and women’s rights is essential.

Compensation
₹45,000 per month
